Last night, I sent a link to a YouTube video of a drone fly over of the city of Vancouver, on WeChat so my former coworkers in China could keep in touch with me. The link got blocked by the great firewall of China. But one of my coworkers texted back that he has been crazy busy since I left. I would have expected as such.

don't know whether to laugh or cry about the predicament your former co-workers have found themselves in.

For the company, I’m happy to have left. For my coworkers, I am saddened by that.
