I need snacks for work. What sort of shelf-stable things are healthy? Ish.
Misha
Nuts, trail mix, no access to a fridge?
Max Graf
Jerky.

If you have access to a fridge, I get the hummus singles and veggies, and the little babybel cheese, also there are these 3packs of nuts and cheese in the cheese section at the store
Misha
Dried fruit

Misha : I absolutely inhale the diced fruit medley from Nuts.com: Premium Bulk Nuts, Dried Fruit, Healthy Sn....

I have a fridge, but it's kind of awkwardly-located right now, and cold stuff tends to sweat anyway. Easier to get crumbs out of a keyboard than dew.

I like the babybel idea, though.

Max Graf : You have a recommended brand?
Qwis
My favorite snack is blueberries, almonds, and chocolate chips. It's not long-term shelf stable but would last for a shift of work.

Roasted seaweed. popcorn (not the bagged ones; they have all sorts of additives, salt, grease...) all you need is kernels, a paper bag, and a microwave.

You could also keep the small cans of seasoned tuna and some crackers.

I'm trying to get ideas for stuff I can keep up here. Microwave takes going up and down stairs.

Tuna, hmmm... not too much into fish, but I like it now and then.
