the most recent slug counts were 1, 1 and 0 - which is a lot more promising than the near week of 2 slugs per night (with 3 on one night).

apparently only fighting off slugs on one front now - the front. The back has seemingly got my back.

meanwhile the waves of flying ants the met office has been showing on the radar (like inverted showers!) are not yet that extreme in this area. It's usually the crawling scouts which invade the house anyway. Never going outside is usually adequate for avoiding royalty.
