Today's reason I can't sleep: just had the galaxy brain realization that if I gave up on the RPG I was making last year because I realized I don't care enough about RPG combat to, like, balance it well, I could, instead, just. Not have combat in the game???

I could instead focus the game mechanics solely on stuff I do care about, like puzzles and NPC interactions? Wild.

I don't know if I'll actually go back to the game because I've forgotten a bunch of stuff about the plot because I'm a very intelligent woman who did not make any actual notes of my plans, but then again, now that the thought's stuck in my brain, maybe I will clean what I remember of the plot up.

Who knows when I'm in this kind of mood.
