I will say I am all for the AMBER Alert system, but this is a case where I am baffled as to why it went off here (Ohio) when it originated in New Jersey and I had to Google to figure out what it was for to find out it had been issued in Pennsylvania as well

There is a way to opt out of them, but then you have to opt out entirely- you can't just turn the noise off
