[TMI, birth control] Question!

To anyone that has been on birth control, particularly the pill, and then come off it

how long did it take for your hormones to settle/go back to what they were before you took birth control?

Hmmm, this was awhile ago so not sure how applicable it'll be, but it was a few months for me before I was regular again

Yeah I stopped like... three months ago? Four? And the last couple of periods have been late and twice as long as they used to be.

I really don't want to regularly have 8 day periods.

Like it's very light bleeding except for two days so it's not terrible but still annoying.

It was a few months for me both times I went off different ones

I think the 2nd time it was a little faster but definitely a few cycles

It depends on the kind I was taking. When I tried the combo pill it took a few cycles to get back to normal, but with progesterone only it only took me a month or so.

Yeah I took the combo so maybe it'll go back to normal soon. I think I've had two abnormal cycles.
