Hello players, some quick announcements: the TDM is gonna be a little late, and I've made some changes to how Auxiliary Characters work in the game!

Per the first: it was 110 degrees in Washington yesterday, and I spent 24 hours in front of an AC unit trying not to melt. I will aim to have the TDM up before the weekend after I have another day off to chill and get things typed up!

Per the second: Auxiliary characters have now been split into two categories! Everything that previously applied to Auxiliary Characters now applies to Auxiliary-NPCs, and they function exactly as they did before, just with a more accurate name! So no changes there!

Meanwhile, Auxiliary Characters are a new category that applies to characters that would not otherwise be appable due to lack of canon appearances or personality. With castmate permission, these characters can be apped into the game and function exactly the same as regular characters!

They will be noted on the taken list with an aux by their name, and must check-in monthly for AC!

This was actually my initial concept behind Auxiliary Characters way back in game-planning stages, so I'm glad to finally include it in the game! This change only really applies to anyone who wants to app an otherwise unappable castmate, such a named sibling or spouse with little to no screentime.

Understandably, these characters require permission from the existing cast to app in order to ensure backstory and personality headcanons line up!

I don't expect too many people to take advantage of this feature, but I hope those who do will enjoy having it as an option!
