[True Culprit Spoilers] There is one area in which the PS3 port is explicitly worse than every other version of the game.

And it's this CG.

Looking back at everything, Hideyoshi only describing (and in a stuttering, hesitant manner) "Shannon's" corpse is a really important clue, and I think this CG kinda ruins it.

You can argue looking at the shape that it's just Shannon's clothes put over a bag or something but this is just a fucking mean trick, especially since Kanon is hanging out off to the side.

but, idk, it still feels like a mean trick to put the idea of "shannon's corpse was really here and here's the cg to show it" in the player's head before they're probably even thinking about the subjectivity of each pov

As Erika put it, it's easier to conceptualize an idea once you can put a face to it.

like umineko is full of mean tricks i'm not going to deny that

but this being put in the ps3 port while the original game didn't have it sorta sticks out

I will grant that Kanon being slightly menacing while standing over Hideyoshi is neat foreshadowing, tho
