[cats] anyone have suggestions on how to teach Toulouse to stop sticking his paws in the water fountain? D:

I love him and I love that the little dumbass loves water (except when it's falling on him like a shower) but he keeps clogging the damn fountain XD

I feel you but we have one cat who refuses to drink from a regular water dish unless they water is moving D: fussy lil shit

maybe when we move, I'll look until building a fountain motor with a water filter and a cat hair/litter filter XD that's easier to clean

yeeaahhh unfortunately the only way you'd train him to not do that would also train him that the fountain is Bad 8(

we tried teaching him to play in the tub instead and we'd fill in for him but now he does both

I've had to give up and put my cat's water bowl in the sink. He just loves to play with water too much for it to be anywhere else lol.
