Mari Makinami Illustrious from the Rebuild of Evangelion..... maybe she wouldn't be unworkable after all?

Like, my PRIMARY concern with her is how obsessed she seems to be with Yui's plan, and her fixation on Yui in general? I'm worried she'd just get in game and collapse into catastrophic depression.

My SECONDARY concern is that the only time I've gotten to play her was in Lost Carnival, where circumstances made her voice hard to maintain, and I don't know if I'm ACTUALLY capable of playing her for the long haul or if there was an actual problem with my ability to PLAY her that I'm missing because of the prior situation.

I don't know if there's a way to find out without... just apping her and seeing what happens, though.

I feel like Absol (a catlike one, obviously) or maybe an Eevee that she doesn't evolve would be a good starter for her, though... or else one of the Kanto starters, for meta reasons, but I don't actually know which one to pick for that.

also tbh i think 'immediately collapsing into catastrophic depression' is just a thing that happens when you take anyone from evangelion out of it for five minutes, because that's also happened with rei XD so i'm planning on sticking rei in kazuki's chill time out corner for a bit until she's like 'okay. it's time to go on pokemon adventures for real'

her solosis is her emotional support pokemon who is like, encouraging her to go outside and meet people and talk and such. so yeah. you're not alone!

i'm not saying it's guaranteed to happen with mari, but i'm saying like, if it does happen, there's ways to make it workable
