I wonder what a druid in this new world would look like. It doesn't sound like there's much in the way of plants/animals in Trench, since Julia got the axe
I was aiming to have him use his shapeshifting as more of a meditative thing (turning only into plants and elements, and then just chilling out as that thing, rather than trying to get any utility out of it)

: OOOH. that would be cool!! druids in his canon do have a purifying effect on magic and demonic influences, precisely because those forces have a stifling effect on nature

: I'm considering pairing the coldblood with his canonical elementalist powerset once he's developed a niche that isn't solely powered by blood magic. but at the same time.....consider: dope team-ups with people who do end up with coldblood, because he doesn't have any blood magic at all
(although I predict that will be one of the less popular choices, since I imagine most people will be drawn toward empathy/telepathy, vampirism, or telekinesis/time manipulation more than elemental stuff. but who knows!)
HMMMM, THO. Blood is representative of the essence of life and power in this world. .....makes me think I might be able to fit that into his role as an Elementalist
a character who can move blood out of spaces to allow for nature to grow could be seen as trivializing what's supposed to be the biggest problem of this world but
I feel like it'd make a neat player plot for that reason - a space like that would need constant upkeep by guardians who keep it purified! that would be real neat
Between Oz's potential ability to manipulate blood, Vyng's ability to physically move/filter dirt with his elemental mastery (and also being able to sweet-talk elements in general), plus whatever else other players might wanna chip in...
a life based on a spiritual connection to the world around them.
but who knows!)
