That’s too bad. Yes, it’s “funny,” and it certainly reinforces the common supposition that conservatives who identify as Christians are ignorant and mean-spirited; but it is also prejudicial and smacks of the sort of cherry-picking that “we” claim “they” do. (Plus: is there educated ignorance?)
