[RL] HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHELLO FRIENDS! Sorry to folks I’ve gone radio silent on, it’s been an insane few weeks. I am MOVING! I have officially moved out of LA and am in the process of driving cross country with my mom, my stepdad, and my two kitties. It’s been nuts, laughs

(Stepdad meaning Randy for those of you who will recognize his name. It’s just easier to call him that now even though he and mom aren’t married and don’t plan to be)

Anyway it’s pretty wild going cross country in an RV with two cats who would rather be literally anywhere else, it’s been meow meow city for days

It’s surreal to be leaving LA after nine years. It’s the longest I’ve lived anywhere except for where I grew up. It feels very bittersweet.

I kind of want to come back once I’m able, but I can really go anywhere... I’ve been thinking of Nashville or Austin, or staying in NYC

What I WANT to do is move to Seattle but it’s just as expensive as LA if not more than, and I’d have to have a really well-paying job locked in if I wanted to move there
ⲣⲓⲣⲣⲓⲉ
So much to consider... we’ll see how things go. I hate being uncertain of my future or things being in limbo, I literally have no idea what my future looks like right now, it’s frustrating -- but we’ll get there. One step at a time

: like they’re honestly doing shockingly well .. I think it helps we’ve been staying in a few pet-friendly hotels so they get some space to stretch out, especially Ashey who refuses to leave her crate when we’re in the RV

like she’s improving slowly but she somehow keeps finding new places in the RV to shove her entire body and hide and we have to tear the entire thing apart to find her ensconced in some physically impossible corner

once I get her on my lap she usually calms down and goes to sleep which is super cute

Ashe is always quiet and never causes trouble, though once she slinked (slunk?) out of her crate and crawled into the front into my mom’s lap which was ... shocking! mom wrapped her up in a sweater like a big sad burrito and she stayed there for like three hours
