lost property offices/rooms/boxes are somewhat misnamed because they're actually where the found property is stored.

(to the tune of where did you get that hat): Where did I park my brain; where did I let it fall? Wasn't it a nobby one - I simply can't recall. I should like to have it back as right as rain. Where e'er I go they shout "Hello! Where did you lose your brain?"
