15: i think this is dependent on the situation, but probably happiness. he lived basically his whole life unhappy, being locked in the manor, that even in the face of his own death, he still wants his friends to be happy, and that his final night before his death, he still is happier than he's been locked away
for peony 4: boy oh boy what hasn't he seen. he's lucky to have not witnessed the political turmoil in grand chokmah with his siblings fighting for the throne, and their subsequent deaths, hearing about it is traumatic enough. just seeing how war torn malkuth had become over the decades is what probably really turned him
like what (decent) country's ruler wants to see their people suffering because of war. which is definitely the reason why he pushed so hard to make peace with kimlasca
11: honestly? whenever he's around jade. peony's usually a calm person by nature, if not stupidly silly, but when it's just the both of them together, enjoying each other's company and a bottle of wine, that's when he's most content. he's not worrying about jade getting hurt, and everything else is fine enough that they can share a quiet moment
19: peony doesn't really like to compare himself to anyone? if he were to, though, it'd probably be some offhanded thought, but for the most part, he knows where his skills and limits lie and he ain't mad about it. but if he were to, he'd only compare himself to jade because his best friend is the biggest idiot known to mankind and no one can top that
also another point to touch on with Luke and his dad: Luke through he came back from the absorption gate, crimson was like "yo why you lazy dawg" but in his typical asshole way and hid letters from his friends because they weren't of nobility and ignored how clearly Luke was depressed (like clinically so)
