i felt like The Reunion of the Bandits episode and the (non-canon) movie did alot to flesh him out. in that episode there isn't much of a line between shuichi and youko so it's very very interesting
it's actually pretty rare that I find someone who, like, really loves yyh to the point that I can discuss the series and my headcanons and all that shit in detail. it's been actual years
gundam wing i remember nothing but Hiro's name and my emotions for it but I saw a vhs of it in my local dollar store like 5 years ago and I bought it. it sits next to my copy of the search for spock
/laughing on only interested in fandoms most no one in the major fandom places gives a fuck about so I have like to be a one woman/person hype crew for the things I like.
She's a very extrinsically motivated character, which makes it difficult to decide what to do and whom to befriend. She's used to being made to cope with extreme restrictions and told what to do all the time.
Apparantly in the version of Transformers canon that people were drawing from at the time, AI don't count as being people in the cybertronian worldview, so EDI got to make passionate speeches in defense of her own personhood
We never threaded it out, but after some discussion it was decided that she could probably just wreck any transformer she pleased with very little effort, because none of them had any real anti-hacking defenses that would challenge her

i could've said Kurama is 35, married to a tree frog, and spits fire from his ass as an automatic defense mechanism, you don't know
we will carry this torch unto death
