Dancing without masks on school property by faculty and staff at yesterday's Big Inauguration Bash? We love to see it.

Listen, I realize that I'm a hypocrite. I went to the family lunch where nobody wore a mask for my grandfather's funeral.

There were zero employees at the lunch. We brought food in, held in in a private location.

This is... there's staff who have to work at this thing. And it's on university property where there are Very Clear Rules About Wearing Masks.

yeah i see that poor staff member being the only masked person there in the back

Dr. BeardoPuff
HI PERSON WORKING BACK THERE.

Dr. BeardoPuff
So I refused to attend any of these events.

Dr. BeardoPuff
And I'm glad that I did.

If a student comes up to me on Monday and says " I hear there were a bunch of faculty and staff on university property last week who didn't wear masks even though they were inside buildings and not maintaining social distancing, so why do I have to wear a mask in your class?" what am I supposed to say?

Dr. BeardoPuff
"I think you should channel that into a letter to the editor of the school newspaper." I guess.
