Update: So as it turns out, the charging cable I was using is pretty, so I'm using an original Apple charging cable for now.

I will need to wait longer to get a better alternative Lightning cable if ever my next swab test turns up negative by Tuesday.

Might need to replace the one for my iPhone as well before I forget.
