I didn't expect them to release a teaser so soon! Love that they implemented Rival Schools mechanics here.

That Daigo summon looks like a V-Trigger activation.

for a v-trigger, it feels kinda long. i wonder if it's a super.
and yeah, that air combo definitely has that project justice vibe!
i wonder how akira will react to sakura being a working lady now. xD

I don't think it's a super since it's not cinematic and I think the walk away animation only happens if you KO the opponent. I would imagine Akira's super by doing a series of hits, calls her brother then does her tag super (that double EVA kick).

Yeah if Sakura aged then Akira should be too, we could see it in her story mode/post-match quotes.

IMHO the cinematics haven't properly been animated yet. but yeah, if it's gonna be a super, the double eva kick would definitely be a better choice. (that or a triple attack with gan or edge)

i'd like to see how she'll react to that haha! xD

She does a V-Trigger activation animation before Daigo came so I don't think that summon is a Super at all. What if that V-Trigger enables her to call out her teammates Edge, Gan , Zaki or Yurika?

Oh yeah her interaction to Karin too, she might be reminded of Yurika xD

Still a long wait since Rose trailer yet to drop and Oro is in development.

oh my god it's my absolute favorite fighting game character

the only proper fighting game I played in arcades and liked was the first Rival Schools game that I played in the basement arcade of Shangrila as a kid

awakened my love for Reverse Traps

and haha...is batsu actually a ninja? i heard he was supposed to be one but they scrapped the idea. he does love ninjas though.xD

there weren't any machines with Rival Schools 2 or the other in the series in the Mandaluyong area when I played arcades

iirc once I played maybe project justice when I visited... Festival Supermall? in Alabang? I think? It's an arcade with an indoor roller coaster iirc hahahahaha

Yeah it was hidden all the way in the back near where the big windows are iirc

Shimarin : He's not a bonafide ninja (he does have that ninja mesh inside his uniform though!) but his father Raizou is and has an Inazuma drop'ish super from Burning Batsu.
