I am writing an RPG one-shot that is inspired by Westworld, Wild Wild West, Battlestar Galactica, Ghostbusters and Alien.

The PCs are invited into an entertainment park to be the first on new rides and stuff. It's not for fun but the gnomes there actually misuse the group to test if the things are secure.

The maintenance constructs start going crazy. -> Westworld

They become more and more and the players need to use stuff from the "Museum of Failed Gnome Inventions" to fight them. -> Ghostbusters

The constructs start making gnome like copies of them. -> Battlestar Galactica

The big end fight will be the first construct sitting on an armed rides that uses it's arms as legs to move -> Wild Wild West

One of the gnomes bringing the group back home after the fight is actually a life-like looking construct, escaping the park -> Alien.

The foes will all just have like 1 to 5 points that the players have to overcome with the special weapons, so the whole thing will be completely system-agnostic.

Blood splattered cogwheel TESTWORLD... as the basic idea is from Westworld, but it all starts with group testing all the things in the amusement park.

Nonono, not that movie. Jon Peters insisted on the spider, and they burned down Silverado before I could visit it. The series is the only one that counts.
