[Rant] I'm getting so irritated with my supervisor not using the name I want her to use. Oh my god. She's an irritating, offensive dick and I need her to fuck off away from me forever.

I've already complained to my manager about it. See, I go by Jim. I've gone by that pretty much all my life. It's what my mom called me. I detest my given name. I hate it. I've never liked it.

Strangely, I'm named after a great uncle who was called James, but got called Uncle Gem (guess my given name lol) and them my mom always called me Jim, or Jimmy. My actual name makes me uncomfortable for a few reasons.

So on everything at work (besides official paperwork for head office) I'm Jim. Coworkers call me Jim. Hell, my manager does.

I've told her about it. She literally went through the holiday diary and RUBBED OUT WHERE I'D WRITTEN 'JIM' AND PUT IN MY NAME despite me going "I prefer Jim."

Yet she's putting my given name on rotas, which are posted in the group.

And why, you ask? Because she's a fucking cow. She has a problem with me, because I'm unavailable to work Wednesdays, basically. It's the one day I won't work and she's C O N S T A N T L Y on my case about it.

She won't work Sundays, but that's fine. But because I don't want to work Wednesdays? End of the fucking world.

Like, she asked us all to fill out 'availability forms'. Which is the hours we can do, and the hours we can't do. I said, simply, "I can do my contracted hours reliably, I'm available for cover during the times I don't work my shifts on those days, and I can cover Thursdays and Tuesdays. I can't do Wednesdays."

And yet, it's Wednesdays she's constantly getting her knickers in a bunch about. I don't get why, either.

Si spoke to her about my Wednesdays (I bullshitted to them that I'm doing an internet course and it takes place on Wednesdays just to make her fuck off) and she stopped. If it starts again when we go back, I'm going to lose my shit.

The best thing is, is an ex-colleague of mine, when I talked to her about all this, said "Oh, is she ... is she deadnaming you?"
