There's a bullshit TV station in the Terran third of StarCraft 2 that leads into a commercial break by teasing a Coming Up Next story about whether the ravenous sliceybeast minions of the Zerg Swarm might have a lemon juice allergy
and then when the Swarm third of the game came out, if you poke Abathur when he's busy, there's a chance he'll boom out a disgruntled "Must solve zergling lemon juice allergy. Weakness in strain."
/snickering oh man, those subtitles match them perfectly. for the ones i know. for the ones i don't, give me a bag of popcorn i wanna see them in action please
He's a 7 or so foot tall genetically engineered bioweapon. He's mute, his skin and eyes're all grey and weird, he's super strong, regenerates from everything short of his heart getting yeeted out of his torso, and he's been tasked with hunting down and killing survivors who might expose the corporation that made him.
...and technically he's kind of an infiltration unit, which is why, of course, Umbrella put this seven foot tall humanoid in an a black leather trench coat and gave him a hat.
Because normally he does the menacing Terminator Walk everywhere, with big stompy footsteps to warn you when he's nearby. ...But if you shoot his hat off, he walks faster
I tend to use that journal for like, either he's assigned to guard a PSL partner, or he was just kind of. Ordered to guard somebody at his destination but he doesn't know who, so when the transport delivering him crashes he's just like "well I need to complete this order" "but I have no idea who I'm supposed to protect"
It's great, I actually really enjoy playing him, though he's thoroughly a PSL or meme-appropriate character who would be really challenging to play in a full game.
Although a game would be appropriate in some ways, because part of why he's so memorable in Resident Evil is just. The characters (and first-time players) have no idea something like him is possible as a thing in their lives until they just turn a corner
