I spent a moment thinking abt if I wanted to play anyone from any of the bl I read and if not why tf not cuz some of them definitely like, are fleshed out enough to have appable characters
also a lot of bl characters who have dispositions I'd be interested in rping are obsessive about their love interest so what do I even do with them if no one brings the love interest along.

in seriousness, repression, complicated relationships to love and violence esp when the two end up entangled somehow, a sense of like... being outcast or abnormal or having something Wrong or Off about them in some way, particularly if they're more internally conscious of it than ppl are externally conscious of it
