But as you get older, I think you find less and less is important, apart from some very fundamental things.

當你年輕的時候，你總認為世上重要的事情很多，包括你自己。然而當你年紀漸長，你會發現真正重要的少之又少，除了一些相當基本的事物。後者包括對於同胞（fellow man）的愛、對他們生存存續的關心、對近親（immediate family）以及友人的關愛，然後一如同心圓向外擴散，就像水中的漣漪。我想很多的年輕人在這個嶄新而可怕的世界裡感到難以自處－－我的話會是那樣覺得的。我想我會讓自己收斂到僅只追尋一個更精神層面的人生。
