and as much as I heard it was slow with talking heads, it goes at a good clip (6 episodes man! that's not a lot of space) and honestly?? the action stuff is the boring stuff
so obviously to no one's surprise I love ratchet of course I do. what a good iteration. I'm not sold necessarily by the voice but only bc I find some of the dudes a bit same-y in voice
I'm so sad they killed my gay baby skywarp, but like...fun fodder for between episode fic. I'd like to think screamy actually does give a fuck about his seeker bros. save for jetfire
man tho okay I really dug the magnus and megatron stuff, and also seeing even in the short time megatron's slippage, like nearly blasting shockwave and reluctantly letting him use more dubious methods on magnus which made it that much easier to agree to the virus despite soundwave's warnings (and jetfire's everything)
kinda feel like this should've come before the dead universe and sky lynx's instruction? the whole conflict and turmoil inside of him that he has to push aside to reach into the matrix (of course megs has the matrix now but shh)
I'm thinking about how good this show does at making op seem flawed and emotional and also not always right! like he admits taking the allspark off planet was Not A Good Idea
I'm also thinking about megs talking to ultra magnus poor yorick style bc again that sense of brotherhood between those two specifically was a cool choice that gives me feelings and he's fucknuts insanios but there is occasionally a spark of something in him? imagine if this show got more than six episodes to a season
