been outside to water the neighbours' indoor (conservatory) tree, make love to their cat, check on the pond and bird feeders and tip excess water out of one of my own pots which seems to have become clogged.

help from someone else to unclog the drainage hole somehow while trying to hold the heavy pot with its delicate tree safely at an angle.

it’s all grey and gloomy up here.
