Yeah, I'm gonna poke around and see if I can find a tutorial. Shame I can't view what I had in its native space.

but also, and I speak from experience, rescuing the data may not be worth the time put into it, since likely file names will mostly be illegible. I think when my laptop hard drive finally died I rescued like, mp3s from friends of their voices and other such irreplaceable things and wrote off a lot of other things

so I wouldn't throw money at it unless there is absolutely stuff you wanna see
