as some of you may know, my wifey is a doctor, so she was able to kind of walk me through the process of what this procedure would be like

from there, they would only have to cut until they saw the bone of the spine/sacrum, which is just below the hips, until they saw the tracker and then remove it

there would be very little chance of paralysis if the tracker is only attached to the spine itself, and not any of the nerves beneath the bone

all he would need, really, is someone to go to like a dentists office and/or a vet clinic and steal some novocane or lidocane to inject him with, since he can't do it himself, and be someone proficient enough to follow directions and do basic nurse stuff i guess
