A fun read with a HELL of an action packed finale

Only problem I had was I had a bit of trouble keeping the characters straight because they introduced the main duo and then a bit later they introduced 15 more characters at once

The structure of the story was kind of like a mystery novel

Or maybe a thriller

There was a stretch towards the beginning that was kind of weirdly meandering but the individual characters were entertaining enough that they held my attention through that part

It was super clear that the only way to beat a lyctor was with another lyctor

I also looked at the cover of Harrow the Ninth

And on that, Harrow has a big two handed sword strapped to her back

Which, if you’re paying attention, is a huge spoiler

That Harrow and Gideon become a lyctor

I don’t think Gideon is just GONE, though

There’s still a bunch of unanswered questions about who she is
