So I'm making two Valentine's-themed bentos for two loved ones and I want to include a sandwich, but can't think of any filling that would fit a cutesy red/pink theme. Ideas?

Can't include apples or meat (because I don't know how to cook meat, lol).

red pepper cream cheese?

red pepper in general might be good. or radishes

also deli ham might work since that wouldn't require you to cook it and it's generally very pink

ketchup-mayo is also an option

or imitation crab

alternately if you want to go sweet with the sandwich, whipped cream and strawberry sandwiches are amazing

I'd do strawberry and cream sandwiches, but would those need to be refrigerated?

yes, but if the cream is pasteurized you can probably leave it out for up to 2 hours and you'd still be safe

hot dogs might also be an option
