[cat question] How dangerous is for my cat that he stole half a chocolate wafer?

I know chocolate is toxic for cats but is it lethal or... ???

I just left the wafer near my tea while going to the bathroom and when I was back it was gone and cat was clearly a culprit looking at all the bread crumbles around it

My bad, absolutely, but I'm not used to have a cat and I didn't think about securing what was on the table

i didn't even know cats liked chocolate? Or was it due to the wafer itself? who knows. I'll just keep an eye on her all day and hope she doesn't get sick

Well, vet told me it was so little it shouldn't be a problem but to be more careful next time. Good.

they have to actually eat like 2x their body weight (unless it has Xylitol in it... then it's an emergency) Grapes and Rasins are way worse

good to know I'll never end up keeping those flowers. An yes, I was just worried because I don't know much about cats and the last thing I want is to accidentally poison mine XD

I'll ask the vet if I can occasionally give her small bready (non sweet) treats, though, if she's a glutton for them
