She's great, although so's everyone (although she and Hanamaru get flanderized a lot, Kanan needs screentime, and for a good portion of season 1, the writers didn't know what to do with Mari and turned her into Nozomi 2.0).

there are SOME lines where lyria will say "kanojo" or some other indicator of gender but it's not often and isn't always translated in a gendered fashion. it's really nice.
