honestly ... i feel like initially it'd be billy and you'd just ASSUME billy but like ... I feel like Silver would be the biggest culprit, like inside he's a big softy and i think he'd just be so delighted that he'd just do all the spoiling
I feel like ... Neither? Like, leaning towards Silver because Billy just kind of goes with the flow and Silver is such an instigator even when he's not physically instigating, but it's not a real proposal. It's more of a "we're basically already married so you know" and like they might go get a certificate just to have the benefits of marriage but
23. What is their favorite thing about their lover?
Physically, him curls and that little smile. It so cute, fam. But otherwise, definitely the intellect. And the charisma, of course. It's hard not to be attracted to someone that quick witted and charming.
This could go to both, but Billy especially. Like, that's his jam, defending the people he cares about and standing up for them. He'd definitely make a bigger show about it and let people know. I think Silver would probably defend Billy's honour, too, but in a quieter way. He'd do it offhand and nonchalantly
Okay originally I was going to say Flint does it to Billy, and I think he's more likely to, just given the fact that Flint is very focused on his own thing and is more willing to lose people that he needs to lose in order to make it happen. I mean, even as early as season one, there's that question of what exactly happened to Billy when he went overboard
and like, regardless of if Billy slipped or if Flint let go, Billy was still feeling betrayal because he realized for the first time he didn't know the whole story, and I think that's just like a thing that keeps happening. Billy feels like he's back in and then Flint does something that pushes Billy out
And then we get to Billy staying on land and building the resistance there and then we start to see the fracture happens on Billy's side, too. You know, he's put in all this work and for the first time ever he doesn't just go blindly along with Flint. Which I feel is sort of a heartbreaking moment for Flint since he's always counted on Billy but
Billy, most likely. Because he's the loyal one and he believes in Flint and Flint's cause. Billy would kill for any of his brothers, honestly, but Flint is truly a special case. I think in the right circumstances, Flint would kill someone for Billy, because he needs Billy around, but Billy's definitely got this one.
Billy ... Flint's the captain, Flint's the important one, Flint's the driving force behind everything and, at the end of the day, Billy probably still feels like he owes Flint for taking him on board and rescuing him after the press gang got him.
Flint, since, you know, Billy's dying for him. Maybe to Flint, Billy's death would just be another in a long line, but I like to believe that underneath his Captain Flint persona, he'd feel something for it. Especially if Billy specifically died for him. There'd maybe be some sense of duty to carry on for Billy.
8. Who would do two of the three? (Kill, die, live)
This question is so weird because it's literally already asked in previous questions BUT lmao. Billy, who would kill and then die to keep Flint and Flint's cause alive. He's a good boy.
23. What is their favorite thing about their lover?
The commanding presence. You know when Flint is in the room, and Flint's got such a calm but undeniable confidence and certainty about him. It's easy to get swept into, and even easier to admire. But also Billy knows, I think, that Flint is a good man. He's got this fierce reputation but Billy sees
him on the daily, and he knows the good that Flint is capable of. Billy isn't the sort to follow a man that doesn't have some degree of decency, so he definitely likes that Flint can be that powerful force but still maintain humanity.
24. How many times have they fallen in love with their lover again? How many more times can they fall for the other?
I think just the once. Which isn't mean to be an ~unromantic~ answer, but Billy knows who and what Flint is and he doesn't keep being astounded by it. He doesn't fall out of love (maybe not even near the end), but he doesn't keep feeling
swept up. That said, if Flint ever dropped the "Flint" ideal he created for himself, Billy would probably fall in love with the man behind the pirate, too.
Billy. He has and he will, because that's what he does, and he'd do it for any of them he felt strongly about. Though Flint isn't without his own appreciation for loyalty and I think he'd tell someone off for saying or doing something offensive towards Billy, but it wouldn't be to the same level. Billy would
Their shared experiences, their sense of duty and loyalty to one another. They've been on this ride together for a long time and even after all the shit Flint pulled, Billy kept coming back. And if we're going to look at Treasure Island for some "post-series insight", Billy has Flint's treasure map somehow which has to
I think that after a certain amount of time and knowing what awful things you've done together and for each other, that's a bond, for better or for worse.
Look. They're both probably pretty silly but something in my heart is telling me Flint is sillier. They're both such solemn and diligent dudes but Flint's got that gleam in his smile that says to me that he can get up to mischief when the mood is right

u and i both kno fish is getting lost like look at him he's fun sized and u can't lose billy cause he's the actual size of the crowd
silver
Silver loves it when Billy's drunk because Billy is so serious all the time and follows the rules too much
looks at season four which is just a mess of this exact thing
