-a smaller scale arcana-based fantasy I have character arcs mapped out for but as of yet unclear worldbuilding

ok for real I would suggest the mhyk one because if its been in your head it'll probably be easiest to start getting words down, at least that's how I work... start with the easiest to get going, and see where that takes you

if you already have the thing in your head you might as well go ahead and get it out

I would still suggest starting with the mhyk one just because your description makes it seem like the one floating closest to the surface, even if you've had some of the other ideas are floating around for longer. I hope that metaphor makes sense.

YEAH in a lot of ways that’s true too. I think I’ve been struggling with it tho cuz it’s so conceptual and doesn’t really have a start/end and I think getting really into the swing of really story-driven works in mdzs fandom maybe threw me off on how I used to pull that kind of thing off
