Jack's situation is easier to define: cover The Doctor's back and protect whoever he may be teamed up with.

He's made it very clear he's Team Sodder, and he's also somewhat Team Mayor. V. anti-Team Mother Superior.

Also water is wet. /laughs/

Wesker on the other hand, is likely to throw down the gauntlet for Mother Superior... he's been subtle about it, but he does NOT like Sodder or approve of her tactics.

Mostly, he's been mocking about it ("Julia, could you have dreamed of a god-damned beach.")

One unfinished journal entry where he compares her bringing him into Deerington to "inviting a tiger to your tea party".

But here's the thing:

If there's one member of the pantheon whom he lines up to the most?

It's Sodder.

As they're both kids who've been subjected to weird experiments and had their existences manipulated.

Granted, he's what happens when the kid grows up and is consumed by their trauma.

And comes out the other side as messed-up as the ones who broke them.

So he's going into this, intending to keep Sodder contained, maybe even try to throttle her for pulling him away from his world...

It may not bring him around to her side, but... it may give him an glimpse that self-preservation can take a different course.
