Alright. Let's begin.

I'm setting down a few base rules for myself regarding liveblogging.

Umineko: When They Cry is a fucking monumental game from what I understand.

If I take the time to record every possible reaction I have to it, it'll take me probably forever?

So here's what I'm going to do.

Instead of liveblogging everything, I'm going to plurk a summary of my thoughts on each scene as it transitions into the next one.

I'll only break this rule in two cases:

1. If I find an important clue that I think I'll need to remember.

2. If I need to solve something and documenting my thought process will help.

Normally I'm really bad with spoilers but I've managed to restrain myself and mute any Umineko plurks that I've found.

the game will give you regular concrete Break Points in the form of either the screen shattering or a clock appearing

I've also seen a few completely out of context screencaps/art just from existing on the internet but I don't remember most of them anyways.

Thanks for the tip. How... often will those break points come, out of curiosity?

Saying for full disclosure: The only maybe spoiler thing I remember is, uh, pipe smoking lady (Beatrice?) cupping protagonist (Battler? Beato?)'s cheeks against a dark background. I'm 90% certain that it was ship art and the only reason I remember it is that the imagery was weirdly striking and it's stuck in my mind whenever someone mentions Umineko.

Umineko is a Lot, content wise, so please don't be afraid to take breaks when/if you need them
