This came out right around when I read the book, why did I not know it existed?

OH! That was such a good movie. Its.. flawed but I very much recommend it. My only REAL complaint with it is it only uses one song through out it.

I read the book about half way. I'm sad to say I didnt' know the book exist till i was 20 and then tried to get into it but couldn't.

I'm vice versa, I read the books multiple times in my teens but never heard of this movie

The wiki says it was competing with The Lion King, so I think that's why i never heard of it

I saw The Lion King multiple times in theaters
