pre timeskip he'd be a little neater and more presentable and went through a period of having extremely nice silky hair, giselle would make him sit down and brush it and braid it and so forth

he doesn't like to throw things out if they get torn or bloodstained - he's pretty good at laundry but terrible at sewing, he will use thread that mostly matches the color but his stitches aren't even at all

lots of frayed edges which match his aesthetic, and if something has buttons or laces or ties he generally doesn't bother doing it up all the way or at all unless that would risk his pants falling down in battle

lots of wrapped fabric and scarves and sashes, he's not self conscious about his many scars but he doesn't like to advertise weak points

10. Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted? just because he's not very strong physically doesn't mean he's smart, he's a prince so he's had education but he does not learn particularly quickly he is just very stubborn, all of his intelligence is emotional

In that one AU where he's a lawyer he's bloody minded stubborn and good at appealing to a court and also just put a lot of effort into knowing enough basic shit for a framework for the rest of him to shine

He has someone else in the firm who turns his horrible outlines into sizzling briefs and someone else who helps him seek out loopholes and hidden weaknesses in the opposition

...and also he's blisteringly passionate about environmental protections so yeah he knows a lot of the fiddly details to rip holes in counterarguments because if something makes him mad he's not going to forget it in a hurry

What are they now? for boyband in particular he used to believe that if you were a good person good things would happen to you and everything would work out - that's kind of true of all reysons that's why he's so fucking angry, because he was wrong about that and he hates it

Naesala pisses him off because the lesson there is that even if you like someone and they like you that won't stop them from fucking you over - Reyson is absolutely not going to be someone else's Naesala, he's an optimist and fuck you all for hurting that part of him

Music industry definitely is a big one for boyband - his parents did have his best interests in mind and he grew up shielded from all the fuckery that could happen there and then when he signed the contract with Tanas and figured it was going to be oh, he's just got an aesthetic he wants my albums to fit, that's fine

48. How are your character’s gestures? Vigorous? Weak? Controlled? Compulsive? Energetic? Sluggish? graceful and deliberate, lots of big sweeping arm motions that take up lots of space

when he's a bird (and sometimes when not) you can read a lot into where his head and neck are and how fast they're moving

he doesn't actually fight but he's still got the instincts so if he shifts his weight backwards that's a vestigial warning of "oh, time to prepare to spear my big long beak out"

and of course he puffs up his feathers to look big all the time

tibarn is his personal hero because tibarn is big and strong and can protect his people right there on the frontlines and is always so confident and sure of what he needs to do

he's pretty stiff upper lip stoic resting bitchface overall with the occasional sweet smile that could launch a thousand fuckin ships, the man is gorgeous despite all his attempts to make everyone forget that in favor of what a tempermental maniac he is
