soak the spot until the foaming stops, then wring it out, and repeat.

obviously, if you can get a bunch off for being more solid than purely liquid, do that, but like. "I've wiped it and it's definitely going to leave a stain" time - no, no, just take it into the little basin of the sink, and dribble that over it, watch it foam and fizz, wait for it to chill out and act like water, and repeat. <3

Well yeah, first thing I do with fresh-stained clothing is shove it in the sink with cold water and soap and knead/rub most of it out.

Yeah, at this time, I was stuck in the downstairs bathroom, where we don't store it because it has nowhere dark to be.

I hope the HO tip can help you in the future, at any rate. I've saved numerous articles of clothing with it... my friend's couch cushion, once... towels.... I mean, it isn't just good for cleaning injuries, but the messes the injuries leave, too.. I forget how I learned about it in the first place, but I'm forever glad to know, lol.

I try not to wear black around here often because we have 2 dogs and a kitty who are white-furred.

there's two kinds of dirt/dust/hairs, when it comes to clothes. the dark kind, which is attracted to light clothes, and the light kind, that's attracted to dark clothes.....

Fortunately, the darkest fur we have around here are Letty and Jupiter, and they have gray fur. And bits of white. And then we have an orange lad who might as well also cling to black clothing
