Iskandar is a little confused with Dia and Zerker marrying because he's always assumed that you can marry a woman but you can't marry a guy if you are yourself a guy. Plus you marry for family alliance and state reasons but then aren't they both Celts so maybe that's a Celtic thing?

waver's from a time where it'd be very rare and difficult to marry in a same-sex relationship for normal people on top of the whole culture of the clock tower and not wanting to think about that nest of vipers and their family lines. marriage is for reproducing and making sure you can pass on your family crest and such

so he's also a bit startled at the whole thing but happy for dia and zerker because they deserve to be happy together and if that's what they want, that's up to them

but now he is. slightly confused.
