[Centipede] One of my new houseplants came with a friend.

the plant was ful of snails which i just noticed today, so I assume this fella was eating the snails

the snails I put in the garbage because they're a weird shape so I don't think they're native and I don't want to start a snail epidemic. But I'm wondering if I can just put this in one of my outdoor plants..

for now I think I'm gonna put him back in the plant and the plant is on a table outside so I can keep track of snail action

and he can eat baby snails.

he'll be a problem when I eventually repot this. I'm more worried about the snails than the centipede actually. In terms of infestations of the ecosystem

lemme break out the real camera and see if I can get a better shot of him for posterity.

yeah I'd be more worried about the snails too tbh, they reproduce more quickly and they can do a lot of damage if they're predatory

centipedes are my worst enemy but only the large ones the small ones can be friends

i don't think he'll get big. i think it's just a little species. If he got huge i'd probably just keep him in a jar and feed him crickets. centipedes are cool.

yeah you can keep them in those plastic screw top jars that cheeseballs come in filled with dirt. I almost bought one as a pet but then I was like: okay if this gets out how much will I panic..
