I have not looked at any news sites for the entire morning and I am not going to look at any news sites for the rest of the day

this does not seem to have significantly impacted my work productivity, but it is at least nice to be less on edge

also I sent a request for an informational interview to the physical grocery store team for a role as a category manager for dairy and the HM replied to me within an hour, so that's happening on Monday

really I just want to escape my current team

there are things I like about my current role but they do not outweigh the things that I dislike

well, friends, I chewed my nails to hell and back but I did at least have a somewhat productive remainder of the work day

the TDL still looms massively but I can prioritize it and hopefully pare it down to something less intimidating by the end of next week

and anyway I didn't spend half my day staring at twitter and 538 so that's an accomplishment

I'm done tho. I'm done with this week. I'm gonna walk my dog, get myself some good food and then it's Hades and RP for the rest of the night
