[gaming] Now that I beat the remake of RE3, time to get back to the first game's remake. I still don't like crimson heads

By some miracle I've made two direct headshots to zombies

sometimes I'm tempted to let downed zombies grab me just so Jill will stomp their heads and save me the kerosene

And I still have plenty of healing items

Seems like inventory management comes with the territory in these games

because you have to use those slots for weapons and ammo, but also puzzle items and then it's usually a good idea to have one or two open inventory slots

and then it's "do I leave this key item in the inventory box until I find out what it's used for, or keep it on me so I can do the puzzle right away?"

or "I should have at least one healing item on hand"

keeping the shotgun in the box for now, so I can save the ammo for when hunters show up

I described the puzzles in this game as "escape room puzzles" to my dad

last year for my birthday my parents and I did an escape room
