lots of loss this year, i hope next year will bring none to compensate. before i went to sleep i just learned of my recently passed aunt's bestie passing, we considered her a close family friend & called her auntie too. then i checked FB to learn of an acquaintance's wife passing too. in my family, including relatives & friends, we've had 4 this year.

but including friends who had lost family, it's over 10. covid probably accounted for less than 8% of that. but i don't recall a year when it's this many. it sucks.

the number of celebrities didn't pale either. lots of shockers & big names.
