Idly musing on my games library, I realize why I haven't picked back up Monster Hunter World now that I have a much much better computer. This is something I really hope they change in Rise.
For the record my old computer could technically run it but just barely and it made big fights basically impossible because of how MT Framework (and it's successor RE Engine) work; things that deal damage are active on a "deals damage every x frames" basis, which is why, for example, the Resident Evil 2 remake speedruns use knives and uncapped framerates.
Because there's some bosses you can absolutely chump if you have framerate uncapped and graphical fidelity turned all the way low and then stare at the ground while swiping the knife, the DPS skyrockets.
Similarly the big attacks in MH World, which is on RE's predecessor MT, also work like that knife, and if your game is choking and sputtering, what's meant to be one big hit induces lag and the engine goes "Well he actually stood in that attack for three ticks" and bam I'm dead to what was, to everyone else in the session, a single fireball or whatever.

I would, but there's one thing that thinking back on it irks the everliving shit out of me about MHW's design.
I'm admittedly kind of worried about Rise's multiplayer on switch because uhhh Ninty's online services this gen have been absolute dogshit but we'll see how things are handled come the PC port.
Please god get rid of this "oh you wanted to play this game with friends? Fuck you. Jump through hoops for our encounter designer's amusement, asshole."
World had this weird feeling where it didn't want you to do the story with other people but absolutely wanted you to do everything else with other people and it's just
