oh! the Scholomance series is a really fun "technical aspects of magic" type setting (it's not really magic tech though, more like "magic as a complicated science"?)

Machineries of Empire is technically sci-fi but the science is basically a magical imperialism metaphor

Max Gladstone's Craft Sequence is more 'magic as contract law' than 'magic as computer science', but might hit that itch.

have you tried the So You Want to be a Wizard series? it's fantasy but it focuses on the science of manipulating the world
