and this results in good things /gestures at animal crossing, which may not have next-gen super-realistic graphics, and may not be for everyone, but if you're into it it's really good
and like it wouldn't matter if this wasn't the case, but it seems to me that games made by people not working under Crunch Culture are usually better or at least more cohesive
Nintendo has its problems but somehow despite not having crunch time they always manage to produce fully functioning games that aren't totally broken on release and that generall sell well
Because surprise surprise a healthy relationship between workers, management and not being tired all the time means they can actually work on a good game and flesh things out properly.
Like No Man's Sky is a great example actually. I don't know if they had crunch specifically but Sony was breathing down their neck for a specific release date. Surprise Surprise the game turned out shit, but they kept plugging away at it after and the game's actually decent now.
