look, I would accept RJM as a thing if it won and the following happened:
the 'persons of the year' issue was nothing but a list of names of all the known victims of poc police violence along with a ten page scredo about how we should defund the police

anything less than that and you're part of our fucking problem

like, I could accept the devil's advocate of "there wasn't just a single victim that kicked off the movement" if that was the angle they were going for

but there is no way in hell it is

if it was that, they probably also shouldn't have put a picture of George Fucking Floyd on it while not giving any names
