I don't routinely hate Disney. It's a corporation doing corporate things. They're all despicable in their own way.

Buuuuut?

Apparently they started an animated Rocketeer kids show last year.

And now they have gotten around to pulling the entire original soundtrack off Youtube.

The remaining covers aren't terrible, but they are also not the same performance or arrangement.

The really frustrating part, after watching the intro to the cartoon, is that they don't even hint at Horner's composition.

Reminds me a little of Warner/DC, whose movie division thinks their own TV division is competition.

Having read the synopsis, I have a second frustration.

A series about Cliff Secord's great granddaughter receiving the helmet and rocket under possibly mysterious/secret circumstances (that part isn't quite clear) and proceeding to become a heroine in her own right is something I would love to watch.

Provided said great granddaughter wasn't seven.

You know their target market.
