started watching "the queen's gambit" last night, and oh my GOD

it's SO good

now i fully anticipate folks to get really into chess and whatnot, which is hilarious because i was literally looking at the online chess website last year

my father was part of his school's chess club back in high school, and i was always interested (even though interest in chess died by the time i got into high school)

maybe i should finally make that account and try playing
